Introduction
The Senior Sales role in the Pretoria Region focuses on driving sales, providing expert advice on tyres, wheels and related services, and building strong customer relationships. The role supports daily store operations through accurate sales administration, technical product knowledge and excellent customer service.
Job description
- Sell tyres, wheels, accessories and related services according to customer needs.
- Identify sales opportunities and recommend suitable products based on vehicle specifications and tyre performance requirements.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers.
- Respond to customer enquiries and assist with resolving complaints professionally.
- Apply knowledge of wheel alignment, balancing, tyre fitting and tyre or rim defects when advising customers.
- Prepare accurate invoices, receive payments and assist with cash-up procedures.
- Maintain sales records and complete the required reports and documentation.
- Work closely with the workshop team to ensure customer requirements are understood and attended to.
- Support the Sales Manager with daily store activities and provide guidance to less experienced sales team members.
Minimum requirements
- Grade 12.
- Relevant sales experience in a tyre retail or automotive environment.
- Sound knowledge of tyres, wheels, accessories, product specifications and performance.
- Understanding of wheel alignment, balancing, tyre fitting and stripping, and tyre or rim defects.
- Knowledge of sales administration, including invoicing, receiving payments and cash-up procedures.
- Strong customer service, communication and relationship-building skills.
- Attention to detail, reliability and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to use initiative and maintain a professional approach.
- High levels of integrity and honesty.

- Experience using Sage X3 or a similar system.
